Where it sits

Eight weeks nobody else is playing.

INTENNSE is a season; the other team events are weekends. The eight playing weeks sit in the middle of the summer and finish before the US Open swing peaks.

Against the college season

Both NCAA Division I team championships ended on 17 May 2026. INTENNSE opened on 5 June — nineteen days later.

Nothing left to wait for

The NCAA has moved singles and doubles to November, so a graduating senior has nothing left on the college calendar.
